Description
The Championship was hosted by Holy Angels High at the UCCB Gym on December 3 and 4, 2004. Middleton in Pool A played St. Pats followed by South Colchester on Friday and the host on Saturday. Pool B consisted of Bridgewater, Hants East, Millwood, and West Kings. Middleton advanced to the Championship semi-final to face powerhouse Bridgewater, who defeated MRHS in taking the Gold over Middleton at the Western Regional. Middleton turned the tables on Bridgewater to advance to the Final versus archrival and neighbor West Kings. In the Final MRHS won the first set 25–17 only to see WKDHS bounce back to win the second set 25-17. In the final set Middleton prevailed 15-9 to capture only their second Nova Scotia Championship, the first in 26 years. Kudos to all the team players and Coach Connell.
