Description
The results were extraordinary. In 2000, Middleton captured its first U15 Provincial Championship, proving they had become the team to beat. They followed that with another provincial title at the U16 level in 2001, compiling an astonishing combined record of 28 wins, one loss, and one tie over those two seasons while winning eight consecutive tournaments. After the community was unable to field a team in 2002, many of the players reunited the following year and added one final chapter to their remarkable story by claiming the U18 Provincial Championship, their third provincial title in four competitive seasons. Team players came from Middleton, Bridgetown and Annapolis.
While the championships and records speak for themselves, this team’s legacy extends far beyond the scores. They represented Middleton with pride, inspired a generation of young athletes, and demonstrated what can be accomplished when talent is matched with commitment, resilience, and trust in one another. More than two decades later, their achievements remain a benchmark of excellence in Middleton soccer.
The Sports Heritage Wall of Fame is proud to recognize the Middleton Boys Soccer Team (1998-2003) as a truly deserving Team Inductee.
