Her team won NSSAF titles in Division I Volleyball in 1978-79 while playing with her two older sisters and in Division II Basketball in 1980-81 where she was selected MVP. Donna won the Senior Female Leadership in Athletics Award at MRHS in her Graduation year and played on the Nova Scotia Basketball team in 1980-81.
After Graduation Donna headed to the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in the Truro area for studies and basketball. In all four years 81-82, 82-83,84-85, 85-86 she was All-Conference, three times on the First All Star Team and once on the Second, while averaging over 10 points per game. In 1981-82 she led her team to a berth in the CCAA Nationals after defeating an undefeated 14 and 0 UCCB team. In 82-83and again in 84-85 Donna received NSAC Athlete of the Year Honours. After using up her college eligibility Donna served as Assistant Basketball Coach for two years while securing her Degree, having earlier in 1983 received her Diploma.
Donna helped her team out of Middleton/Kentville in 1994 to the Nova Scotia Ladies “B” Basketball Championship. Beyond being an accomplished competitive athlete, Donna has also contributed as Assistant Coach of MRHS Boys and Girls Softball and Boys Volleyball, along with U16 Girls Summer Soccer. The Sports Heritage Wall of Fame is honoured to welcome Donna Noble as a most deserving Athlete.
