She was a multi-sport athlete who excelled year-round, capturing provincial medals in badminton at the junior, intermediate, and senior levels while also being a scoring force and playmaker on the basketball court. In 2009, she was named Junior High Female Athlete of the Year, a fitting recognition for someone who seemed to elevate every team she joined.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sunwen\u2019s athletic journey didn\u2019t stop at graduation. She went on to compete at the collegiate level, capturing the ACAA Women\u2019s Doubles Championship and helping her team to a conference title that earned them a spot at Nationals. Even after competitive sport, she has stayed active and adventurous, turning her energy to pursuits like rock climbing and breakdancing, always embracing the joy of movement and challenge.
